Gone are the summer months and the sudden cold has forced me to update my winter wardrobe. I recently had to throw a beloved pair of ankle boots due to overuse and I have been on the lookout for the perfect boots ever since. I haven’t been successful finding the perfect pair but for the mean time, I have found these two.
These ankle boots are from The Warehouse. I also found a great top to wear with leggings. I liked it so much I bought more of it.
See below to see everything I got.
Before I start with the haul, how hard is it to find a great pair of ankle boots? I have seriously been looking for weeks and I have tried on multiple pairs only to be left disappointed. When I was looking, I didn’t care about the price. I have tried really cheap to incredibly expensive ones but none have suited me or they just didn’t look right. I’m very picky with boots and if I’m willing to spend over $150 (which is too much for my cheap self already) for them, they have to be perfect. I am also petite and if the boots are too flat, they look ridiculous on me and some are too wide on the ankles.
I can go on about it but thankfully, I found these two cool pairs from The Warehouse no less. They will do for now and for the price, I couldn’t really complain. Both boots are $39 but I got them when they were on sale for $27. During the long weekend, these boots were even cheaper at only $19 each. My sister bought one too.
The first pair I got are these black boots. They are the Debut Nadira Ankle Boots. They have stitching at the back and zippers on the sides. The heel is 1-1.5 inches high which is still comfortable for every day wear.
I got a size 6 which is a good fit. I’m usually between a 6 and 7 depending on the brand/store.
The boots have fake silver zipper detail on the outside. The real zipper are on the inside where you can’t easily see them. I like zippered boots more because they’re easier to put on and take off.
You can see these boots in my first outfit post over here.
The next one is this brown pair. They are the Debut Micha Ankle Boots.
These are my first brown pair because all I’ve seen previously aren’t the good shade of brown. I think these are a more natural colour and will go well with a lot of things.
The heels on this pair are slightly lower than the black ankle boots. They also have zipper on each side. Because of the lower heel, these are more comfortable and I wouldn’t mind wearing it to work on most days.
The Warehouse has impressed me with their boots. My beloved pair of boots that I had to throw out were also from The Warehouse and I’ve had them for 4+ years. I’ve had them since I was at uni and I wore them to death so the sole has finally given out. I’m hoping these pairs will last about the same just in case I still don’t find the perfect pair.
Next up are the tops I bought. I initially just got the white top in the middle but I liked it so much that I bought two more in different patterns. These tops are the Garage Woven Tee. They were $19 each originally but are currently $15 on sale.
The reason I bought more of these tops is because they are long enough to cover my bum and front which makes them great to wear with leggings.
The material is polyester which is not the best but for a white top, this isn’t too see-through. The fabric also does not stretch.
From what I saw in stores, there are two floral tees. The other one was monochrome so I opted for this pink and black one to have more colour.
I think this is my favourite out of the three. I like the diagonal stripe pattern and the colour is great for autumn/winter.
I think these are the first proper tops I have bought from The Warehouse. I rarely go to the clothing section there but I couldn’t help but get these when I’ve spent ages looking for tops that are long enough to wear with leggings. These also look great with black jeans.
Have you found the perfect pair of boots? Where are they from? Let me know if you have found them because I’m open for suggestions!

How’s the sizing of the clothing in The Warehouse? I’m pretty petite, so it’s hard to look for my size… 😦

The sizing isn’t good for petite women at The Warehouse. My sister and I could fit their children’s clothing better. I am 5’3-4ish and these tops weren’t an issue for me since I was looking for tops that are long enough to wear with leggings. They’re not baggy on me and I got the smallest size I could find which is 8. I am a 6 on other shops too but it depends on the fit. I’m not the skinniest so it still fits me well. I do have an outfit post coming up for these tops which may give you an idea. Other than that, I suggest trying an 8 in store and see how well it fits. 🙂

Thanks for the info! 🙂 Yeah I guess I would probably need to shop at the kid’s section then! 😀

I’m still on the hunt for my perfect boots – I have a black pair and a tan pair that are pretty much the same but with different detailing (same brand, different seasons), but they’ve done their dash after a few years and I think it’s time for new boots…

They’re so hard to find. Just when I’m willing to spend whatever amount, I can’t find the perfect pair. Hopefully these boots will last this season. My previous Warehouse boots have lasted a few years on me anyway. They’re not too bad.
