It is now June and I can’t believe how fast this year has been! As I mentioned in my last blog post, May was a busy month for me and therefore I have a lot more favourite products. This is mainly makeup too as I’ve been using the same haircare and skincare stuff from my last April faves.
See below to know more about the products I’ve been loving.
First up is this Estee Lauder Doube Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup. This is my go to foundation if I want more coverage and if I will have makeup on for a whole day. I have it in the shade 2W2 Rattan as I got matched in the counter. This was purchased in Sephora in US though when my partner’s parents went there. I absolutely love this and I swear by this foundation if I want a flawless look. Since I had parties/events/went out more the past month, I’ve been using this a lot.
This one is another US purchase and my first NARS product. It’s the Blush/Bronzer duo in Orgasm and Laguna. These two are NARS cult favourites and I now know why. They’re both beautiful and goes well with my skin tone.
For under eyes, this Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer is what I’ve been loving. I’m obsessed with this because it totally works for my under eye circles that seem to be getting darker as the days go by. I have not seen this in NZ though and again, this was bought from the US. I want to know where I can easily get this product because I will have to repurchase it when I run out.
Last makeup item bought from America and it’s another goodie. I love my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. This shade is in Chocolate and this is great for my dark eyebrows. It really keeps my brows in place and it doesn’t budge even if I have it on for a whole day. A little goes a long way too.
For highlight, I’ve been loving Topshop Glow in Gleam. This is a nice cream highlighter and I also use this on my eyes if I want to add something without really wearing eyeshadow.
This is a tiny sample version of the Benefit Stay Don’t Stray primer. I got it from the Benefit 2014 Advent Calendar. I haven’t really used this until recently when I’ve been wearing eyeshadows more. This helps eyeshadows and even eyeliners to not crease on my oily eyelids. I don’t know if I’ll repurchase the full sized one because it’s pricey but I’ll definitely make use of this small one.
I’ve been rocking eyeliner so much more lately too and although I’m still not a pro at getting that cat-eye flick, this Za Liquid Eyeliner has certainly helped me. I got this from the Beauty Review March Beauty Box and I’m so glad I did. This is liquid eyeliner for dummies. It makes it so much easier to put eyeliner on and with a primer, this lasts a long time too.
Since it’s getting colder, my skin and especially my lips have gone drier. I find this e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator brilliant and leaves my lips nice and smooth. It also makes lipstick application better. For the price, this is great. I get mine from iHerb but this is usually sold out. You can also get it from Kmart.
I don’t have a lipstick in this month’s favourites because I’m still loving MAC Craving and a few others but I have this awesome lip balm. This Vaseline Lip Therapy is my lip saviour since I discovered it. It’s the only lip balm that really moisturises my lips. I don’t like how I have to dip my finger in every time but this is the bomb so I get past that. Other lip balms just can’t compare with this and I always have a pot at home and at work. This is my 4th pot of this and I have 2 other backups already. This comes in 3 other ‘flavours’: original, aloe and rose. I’ve tried them all but I like the Cocoa Butter the most.
Last but not the least are these three Revlon Colorstay Nail Enamels. These three combined are amazing and long lasting. I had this shade Nude Beige for 10 days and it had zero chips. I’ve cut my nails since then and now I’ve had it on for 2 weeks and still no major chipping. It only looks average because of natural nail growth so I’m amazed by its lasting power. I have this nude shade and two others (I showed Vintage Rose in this post). I think I’ll try the base coat and top coat on a different nail polish brand and see if it will make it last longer but I swear by this combo.
Sorry for this long post but that concludes my May favourites. I’ve bought a few different beauty products last month too which I’ve been trying out so hopefully there will be new ones in next month’s faves. I hope you like this and if you’ve tried any of these, let me know down below.

I love that Za eyeliner – I use it all the time! It’s so good. I hadn’t worn anything by them until they started sending me stuff and now I’m a huge fan.

It’s such a good eyeliner! It makes applying so much easier and it doesn’t take me as long to do a good flick. I only have this liner and a blush from the beauty box and I like them both. I’m keen to try more of their products.

My go to items from this list is the NARS, I have the full size laguna and orgasm and they’re on my skin daily. I’d really like to try that Age Rewind though, it looks great.

Once I hit pan on this duo, I might be tempted to get the full size one. There is a reason why it’s a cult product. They are amazing. I highly recommend the Age Rewind concealer. Even YTers rave about them. It’s great and it’s so cheap in the US. I wish it’s easily available in NZ though.

I’m definitely going to have to pick up the maybelline concealer! It’s on feelunique.com if you wanted to get a back up 🙂 they don’t have the shade fair though which is the only thing stopping me from picking it up!

Thanks for telling me where to get them. I hope they’re not too expensive online. It was only $6 in the US from memory. It’s such a good concealer! Yeah I have the shade light/fair and it’s so brightening under the eye. 🙂

Haha because I am a pale creature it might just match my skin but not brighten! But I’ll give it a shot anyway. No more than $20 NZ from memory! American drugstore prices are heart-breakingly cheap 😭

I know essiebutton loves this too so it might be alright even for fairer skin tones. That’s not bad but it’s just not the same as US prices which sucks! Oh I would go crazy if I go shopping in America! NZ prices is ridiculous! 😫

Everything Estèe loves I feel the need to buy! I think she said in a video she can get away with light but fair matches her better! Feel unique is such a good website to order from, free delivery and it took less than 10 days for my order to arrive

Yeah I love her! I just checked mine and I have it in light pale. It’s light on me so it’s super brightening. I will definitely check that site out. Any site that has free shipping I’m keen on! Thanks! 🙂
