Last week, I made a last minute Boohoo order. I initially wanted to get outfits for NZ Fashion Week but in the end I just bought these things because I liked them and I wanted to try something different. I previously posted a Boohool haul back in May and since that was a successful haul, I was quite excited to order.
The clothes from my haul are from the sale section as I’m not a big spender when it comes to clothing. Shipping was also super quick. It arrived 6 days later.
To see what I got, click below.
The first one as shown in the header photo is this Justine 70s Floral Mesh Back Belted Playsuit. I’m drawn to clothes that have see-through or open backs. I like how the front of the playsuit/romper is all covered but then the back is sexier due to the mesh. This will be great for summer!
I also like the belt in the waist. It’s attached to the playsuit and I like how it breaks down the busy print. One more thing to love about this playsuit is that it has pockets! I love clothing with pockets so much.
The next one is this light pink co-ords set. This is the Evie Marl Knit Short Sleevel Knitted Co-ord. I wanted to finally try the matching trend and this looked good on the site.
However, I didn’t like it as much as I expected to when I tried it on for the first time. I thought it made me look bigger than I am and it accentuated the curves I’m not used to showing. I don’t really wear tight clothing that much.
That’s what it looks like on. The co-ord set gave me Kardashian-vibes. My partner agrees. I like the top but I’m unsure about the skirt as it makes my hips bigger. I’m still on the fence about it but I’ll keep it anyway.
The last one is this Tasha Boutique Sheer Co-ord Set. I really like this. However, the skirt doesn’t fit me. It won’t go past my hips so unfortunately I cannot wear this co-ord set. I’m sad about it but I should have sized up. Unlike the knitted co-ords above which has a stretchy fabric, this doesn’t. The top fits perfectly but my hips and bum are bigger as I don’t have the same proportions. I’m hoping the skirt will fit my sister so she can have it but it’s not worth returning back to Boohoo. It was my mistake about the size anyway.
That is all for my Boohoo Haul. It is a hit and miss with this website. I got the sizing wrong but that won’t stop me from buying again from the site. Boohoo has good sales and the shipping is quick. Just make sure you consider what type of fabric it is for the sizing.
I also want to let you know that New Zealand Fashion Week kicks off today and for the first time ever, I’m going to it! I’m so excited but quite nervous. I won’t be going for the whole week but I’ll be there from Thursday. Myself along with a bunch of awesome NZ bloggers will be covering the ins and outs of NZFW for the Backstage Blog thanks to We Are Anthology.
It’s going to be a hectic week ahead for me but exciting things are going to happen. If you want to follow my journey during NZFW, it will probably be best to look at my Instagram and Twitter because they’re more up to date.
Have an awesome week everyone!
