It is now summer here in New Zealand and I can feel the temperature rising. This calls for more dresses and sandals.

Today’s post is this casual outfit that’s great for this warm weather. It’s fairly plain so my bright pink bag stands out.

I think I’ve said it a few times on the blog already but I love stripes. It’s classic and won’t go out of style. They can be unflattering at times but overall, I’m a big fan.

I got this dress from an opshop. The brand is called Shareen and I’ve featured it in this Thrift Haul. I like the assymetrical hem and the fabric is comfy.

Since the dress is just white with black stripes, I wanted to add more colour through accessories.

This Michael Kors bag is the brightest bag I own and love it.

My bright blue nails are Topshop Nails in AWOL. My watch is from Fossil.

A necklace could be added to this outfit too but I kept it plain and simple with just gold heart earrings and my Karen Walker sunglasses.

My sandals are from Country Road. I got it on Boxing Day sales last year. It’s a jelly sandal and it has a rose gold bar on the strap.

That’s about it for this short and sweet blog post. I hope you liked it. I don’t enjoy the heat especially humidity but I do like being able to wear my dresses and playsuits more in this season.
