Advent calendars have been pretty popular for the past few years. A lot more brands have released their own versions. However, being in New Zealand, not a lot are available here. I thought I wouldn’t get one this year but I saw this Be Indulged Beauty Advent Calendar in Kmart and I got curious.
At only $15, this is probably the cheapest beauty advent calendar out there. I didn’t expect the best quality but the packaging looked cute.

This Be Indulged advent calendar has 12 days. The slots for each day differ in size.
This is a sneak peak of what’s inside. This calendar has a mixture of beauty products.
The first four days have:
A solid lipgloss, two glitter pots and a blush.
The 5th to 8th days have:
A lipgloss, liquid eyeliner, nail polish and a mascara.
Lastly, days 9-12 are:
Nail polish, eyeshadow quad, nail file and a lipgloss.
I think for the price of $15, this is a good advent calendar. It will be good for a younger teen just starting out with makeup but I still liked it. I will get use out of the nail polishes for sure.
The products I’ll use the least are the lip glosses.
I don’t like lip glosses at all so I will pass on these.
The nail file isn’t the best quality and I think the solid lipgloss in this gem keychain thing looks tacky and cheap but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Some advent calendars I’ve seen have filler products like these too.
Now onto the products I liked inside the calendar:
I think having a liquid eyeliner and a mascara inside the calendar are pretty good.
The mascara is not the best as I expected but it’s good for every day use.
I also like the nail polishes inside. I like red and pink nail polishes so this is a win for me. These shades are good for the summer season too.
I also like the look of these two products.
This Be Indulged blush is a coral colour so it looks more natural on the skin.
I quite liked this eyeshadow quad too. I don’t really have much blues and greys so this is a nice addition as I’m still learning and getting used to wearing eyeshadow.
That’s it for this beauty advent calendar. I didn’t really expect Kmart to have one which is why I bought this. I just wanted to see what it’s like and for $15, I know I couldn’t go wrong.
A few months ago, I posted about last year’s Benefit Advent Calendar and that was good. I wasn’t tempted on getting this year’s one though.
What do you think of this advent calendar? Did you have an advent calendar this year?
Before you go, I just want to all let you know that I’m taking a wee break from posting during Christmas/Boxing Day holidays. I’ll be going away somewhere with no good internet connection and I also need to spend some time away from the computer. I will be back in a week or so with hopefully more exciting content.
I hope you all have a great Christmas!

I did my very first one ever last year and it was Starbucks. I didn’t like it too much as it was mostly all chocolate (and for $40 I was expecting something more…) but I did get a Yankee Candle one for next year!

I don’t think I’ve seen one in Starbucks here but I don’t go there anyway. As for Yankee Candle, we don’t have a store here either. We don’t have much advent calendar available. 🙂
