During my Christmas/New Year break from work, I did a bit of decluttering so I had a bunch of clothing and homeware stuff I didn’t want anymore. I wanted to donate them to an opshop so I headed over to the Salvation Army. After dropping them off, I checked out the store and I managed to find a few clothing items.
Continue below to see my full thrift haul.
I only got a few items because after my decluttering, I know I don’t really need more clothes. However, it was hard to resist these because they were so cheap!
I usually don’t find too many things in Salvation Army but their prices are one of the cheapest compared to other opshops. The clothing are usually below $10.
I’ll start off with this pretty top that’s in my feature photo above.
I love tops with peter pan collars so I instantly picked this up from the rack. I was surprised to see the detail on it though.
The front has this sheer fabric so you can see through the green embroidered/stitching. It’s pretty and delicate-looking. This top was $5. If I see this top in any other store over here, it will definitely be more expensive.
I got this floral shirt because of the length. It’s longer than the average t-shirt so it’s great to wear with leggings. The fabric is so soft too. This was also only $2!
Next up is this floral skirt. I’ve been wanting to get a longer length skirt for the longest time but I haven’t found one that suited me/my style. This skirt is just below my knees. This was $4.50 so a total bargain.
The floral print is not too busy and I love the colour. I have yet to wear this out but I haven’t really found a top to go with it yet.
I also picked up this black dress. Black dresses are so versatile and I don’t think you can ever have too much. I like the style/fit of it and it’s appropriate to wear to work. I think my Karen Walker waist belt would go well with this and dress it up even more. Again, this was was priced at $5.
Lastly, I just got these track pants to wear at home. They were $2 and basically unworn. I threw out a few pyjama bottoms too so this is just replacing one.
I hope you liked this short haul. I haven’t opshopped/thrifted for a while and I didn’t really plan on going during the holidays so finding these bargains was quite nice.

Salvation Army has the lowest prices on clothing too. I love opshopping too much as you never know what you’d find. 🙂
