I love Stationery

Some people are back to school this week and in a couple of weeks so are university students. It’s been a few years since I was at university so I don’t have a reason to buy stationery at this time of the year. However, I still love stationery and keep buying it anyway.

I’m sharing my favourite stationery and my recent buys.

The stationery set pictured above was from Kmart.

kmart stationery set pen notebook.jpgI got it before Christmas and it was a set of four. It came with a tiny 2016 calendar, pen, notebook and a notepad. I love the motivational saying at the front too and the vibrant colours.

From memory, the set was around $12 so even though I know I don’t need it I picked it up anyway. I was saving it for a gift but I ended up keeping it for myself.

I had this before I started my blog and it is actually where I wrote my blog name ideas when I decided to make A Style Collector. This is where I usually jot down random blog ideas before moving on to my ‘blog notebook’.

This is where I list blog photos I’ve already taken so I have an idea of what I have and I could easily schedule my posts for the week.

This notebook is also quite special to me as I used it during NZ Fashion Week. This is where I wrote my interview questions and answers from the designers, hair stylists and makeup artists.

farmers pens stationeryThe pens above are both from Farmers. If you sign up to their beauty club, you get a freen pen around your birthday. The purple one was 2 years ago and I got the gold one recently.

daiso pens stationeryI also picked up this set of ball point pens from Daiso. I don’t think you can ever have too many pens and I love Daiso pens. I have quite a few and they write so well.

This part is from my favourite stationery shop Kikki.K. I love Kikki.k and I can spend a long time in the store just staring at the beautiful things. Their products are quite pricey but if you catch them on sale, they’re fairly reasonable. I highly recommend you signing up as well because they give you a voucher for your birthday and your membership anniversary.

Since I had my birthday recently, I received a voucher and of course I just had to spend it. This is what I chose:

I got the Sentence A Day journal/notebook. I’ve seen this for some time but I held off from buying it. I don’t have a proper journal as I don’t think I could keep it up but I like the idea of one sentence a day.

kikki.k one sentence a day journal diaryIt asks you a question and you just answer it below. This goes for three years so I’ll have this for quite some time.

I’d like to look back in three years time when I’ve fully completed it to see what memories or thoughts I’ve written down.

2016 kikki.k diary paperclips stationeryThe last one is my Kikki.K 2016 diary which I showed in my ‘What I got for Christmas‘ post. My sister gave it to me and it’s so nice and pretty to write in. I feel like I’m ruining it with my ugly handwriting though.

I had a Kikki.K 2015 diary as well but it was much smaller that I didn’t use it too much. This is a good size and easier to write in.

I love how it has quotes inside too. It’s beautiful.

There are a lot more quotes and motivational sayings inside as well and within the actual pages you write in. I think this motivates me to be more organised and I’ve been good at actually updating it and writing in it compared to last year’s diary.

Lastly, I thought I’d share what I currently use to schedule my blog posts for the month. pinterest 2016 calendar printableI printed this calendar off Pinterest. There are a lot of free printable calendars there so you can choose which one you like. I printed a different one for work too. I’ve filled out February but due to the Auckland Seafood Festival, my scheduling has been off.

I’m sure I’m not the only one that loves pretty stationery. Let me know if you do too and what’s your favourite place to get them. I’ve seen so many beautiful stationery lately and I wish I can get them all.

I hope you liked today’s post and have an amazing long weekend!

Went into Kikki k the other day and… just wanted to buy the whole sharp! o_O I actually saw their version of the 3 year diaries and… I am very tempted to get another one even though I already have one…! D: (pre-preparation for when I finish my current one..? >_<)

These are all so cute! I’ve banned myself from buying stationery since I so rarely use it, other than one notebook at a time in my handbag. I used to have diaries but since getting a smart phone I haven’t used one in years. I’m trying to get good use of all my stationery I’ve hoarded but it’s a lifetime supply I swear.

I’ve stopped now but I still can’t help looking at stationery. I have so much notebooks to last me a lifetime too. I’ve been getting diaries every year but last year I barely used mine. I’m making sure I actually use my 2016 diary and it’s helping me to be more organised too.
