Last year, I won one of Sophie’s (Nana Wintour) blog giveaway. The giveaway included a voucher from makeup.co.nz which was so exciting because I’ve always wanted to order from this store.
With the help of the voucher, I finally took the plunge and ordered a few things. See below for my full haul and my other top picks from the online store.
It took me a while to decide what products to buy but in the end I chose two that I’ve never tried before and one that I’ve been wanting to repurchase for the longest time.
Before I continue with my haul, here’s the lovely giveaway I received from Sophie.

Besides the makeup.co.nz voucher, I also received products from Antipodes and a MAC Dazzleglass lip gloss which I talked about on my ‘What I got for Christmas’ post.
Anyway, moving on to my actual makeup.co.nz haul, here’s what I got:
The original Beauty Blender. I’ve bought the two-pack of this years ago and love it. I’ve been using my last sponge but it’s on its last legs. I prefer using a sponge to apply my makeup and the Beauty Blender is the best one I’ve tried. It’s expensive but I’m glad I got my voucher to cover it. I’m glad to have a brand new one back in my life again.
These next two products I’ve never tried before.
I finally got the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. I have the ABH Brow Pomade but I’ve heard so many good things about the brow wiz that I got curious to see what the hype is about. I got it in the shade dark brown.
I used it for the first last weekend and I love it. It took me a while to get used to but I love how small the pencil is so you can mimic you eyebrows for a more natural look. The spooly brush at the end is small and perfect for the brows as well.
Lastly, I got the NYX soft matte lip cream in San Paulo. This is another product that gets talked about a lot. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this for quite some time. When I went to Melbourne, I checked Target but they were out of stock. When NYX finally opened in Farmers here, I rushed to get one too but this shade that I wanted was also out of stock. Makeup.co.nz is also slightly cheaper than Farmers.
So far, I like it. It’s not the best matte lipstick but it isn’t too sticky on the lips and I love the colour.
Makeup.co.nz also included makeup remover wipes which I think comes with every purchase. It’s a nice addition and it would be great for travelling.
I thank Sophie and makeup.co.nz for teaming up for an awesome blog giveaway. I love everything I got and I would probably purchase more from the site. The shipping was super fast too.
Here are some of the things in my wishlist:
- The Balm Manizer Sisters
- Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick
- NYX soft matte lip cream in Addis Ababa
- Skindinavia makeup setting spray
- The Balm Nude Dude palette
- Sleek Highlighting palette
- Milani Rose blush
- Milani Baked Blush
- Milani Illuminating face powder
Have you ordered from this site before? If so, let me know what your favourite purchase was.
