A few weeks ago, I checked out WE’AR’s latest Autumn/Winter collection WOLF. I went to their Ponsonby store on behalf of Thread. The full write-up of what happened at the launch is on Thread and you can read all about it here.
I took way too many photos during the launch so I thought I’d share them on here too. Most of the collection is now available online as well so I will include links.
WE’AR is a clothing brand based in NZ and Bali. I knew about the brand when I wrote for the NZ Fashion Week Backstage Blog last year. It was one of the designers in the Ponsonby Presents show. After going to the launch, I realised that WE’AR is more than just for yoga lovers. The brand has a great philosophy .
The brand’s latest collection is titled Wolf. The Ponsonby store is stocked with the new collection and there are so many lovely pieces.
For the launch, we were welcomed with bubbly, healthy nibbles and delicious tea.
After enjoying the treats, I went down to business and checked what the collection entails.
As I mentioned in the Thread article, the WOLF collection is mainly neutral but there are a few maroon pieces for a pop of colour. The collection features different textures too such as soft denim, chunky knitwear and suede.
Here are my favourite pieces:
The dress on the right is beautiful. It is so soft and I bet it is super comfortable. It’s called the Stole Dress. I do wish it comes in a shorter length though because with my height, this dress would be floor-length on me (#shortpeopleproblems).
The Fox boots were also popular during the launch as a few women tried them on. I love the colour and it’s a nice change from the usual black boots.
Besides clothing, WE’AR also has some skincare products which I didn’t expect.
They have wiki skincare and I was given a bottle of the rich, nutty cleansing oil to take home.
Since the brand is for yoga enthusiasts, they have a variety of yoga pants, workout bras and tops as well as yoga mats. I was surprised at the variety of things in store. Their yoga mat is so pretty!
If you are interested in finding more about the brand and the collection, check out their website we-ar.it.
Before I end this post, I want to thank Megan from Thread for the invitation to my first fashion event this year.
I hope you all had a great Easter weekend and enjoy the short work week! 🙂
