Before the cold weather fully kicks in, I want to share this pair of floral shorts which has been one of my favourite summer pieces. I have worn it so many times in the warmer months because I love the colour and it’s super comfortable.
See how I styled it down below.
Floral Shorts: Asos | Black Top: Kmart | Hat: Vonzipper | Sandals: Number One Shoes | Necklace: H&M | Watch: Fossil
I love this pair of shorts because of the print. The mint green colour is refreshing on the eye and the floral and bird print is a nice contrast. It has pockets too and I love anything with pockets! The fabric is light and airy too. The style of these shorts is quite flowy so it doesn’t cling to my skin.
I’ve paired these shorts with a plan red top as well but it looks more polished with this plain black top from Kmart. The hat is a good match too. I think adding a hat to an outfit makes it look classier/dressier.
The back on this top is also great for summer because of the open detail. Due to the print of the shorts, I don’t think I can pair it with anything else that isn’t a solid colour. It’s such a busy print already that you want it to be the focal point of the outfit.
For shoes, I opted for these rose gold sandals. I’ve loved wearing this in summer. The low heel makes it comfortable and the simple style makes it easy to pair with so many outfits.
I’ve kept accessories minimal in this outfit too with just a simple bar necklace and a watch.
I really need to try other outfit poses as I look the same in each shot. Sorry for looking repetitive each time but I’ve figured out poses that work and I tend to stick to them.
My red lipstick is Chi Chi Viva La Diva Velvet lipstick in Runway Red. Sunglasses were from Farmers and my earrings were from Lovisa.
I’m a bit sad summer is over. Although I couldn’t stand the heat and humidity, I’ll miss the sunshine and being able to wear shorts and rompers. It’s time for me to hide this pair of floral shorts for a couple of months but I’m pretty sure I will bring it out again next summer.
