Since getting it, I have loved this pair of high-waisted pants to wear to work. I wear it almost every week and it has become a staple in my closet. Today, I’m sharing how I’ve been styling this awesome pair of pants.
I have three different looks to see below.
This lovely pair of pants is from Mirrou.
It’s plain black with pockets, a bit of pleating and a tie on the waist. I got it from Mirrou at Sylvia Park after I attended the High Tea at Waipuna Hotel. Most of my clothes are either opshopped or bought on sale but I loved this pair so much I got it full price at $40. It was so cheap anyway and if I knew how much I’d be wearing it to work, I would’ve bought another pair.
I find it so easy to wear, versatile and best of all, comfortable.
Here are the three ways I like to style it:
Black & White:
This was how wore it for the first time. I like the simpleness of black and white. It’s classic and with a blazer on, this looks professional and the most work-appropriate.
The black and white printed top is also from Mirrou. I got it on the same day as I tried them both on in store and I knew it was a great match. The heels are from The Warehouse.
The jewellery is kept simple which is what I wear to work too. I have my Swarovski necklace and Elite watch. I don’t have many white tops but I really love this one. I like it tucked into these pants but also great for skirts. Sunglasses are the Karen Walker Number One style.
Floral:
Because the pants are plain black, I can pretty much pair it with anything on top. Having a bold print like this spruces up the outfit.
The floral top is from The Warehouse and I also have it in two other prints as seen in this Winter Wardrobe haul. The pointed flats are from Wild Pair.
The necklace is from Cotton On, Watch from Casio (bought from Onceit) and sunglasses are from Quay Australia (I won at Talk Beauty NZ).
Brights:
The last outfit is with this bright pink top. A bright top is a nice contrast to the black pants and it’s a nice pop of colour.
Top bright pink embellished top is from Kmart. I featured it in my haul last week. The heels are from Wild Pair.
Because the top is already embellished with silver beads, I kept the jewellery to a minimum with just my Elite watch again and a ring from my Birthday Haul.
If you know where else I can get a good high-waisted pair of pants, let me know. I would love to have another style that is as easy and comfy as this one.

I love your pants, I have always wanted a pair like this but I’m struggling to find trousers that actually fit. I love all of these combinations, the black & white one is my favourite, it is so simple & chic! xx

I wish there are more Mirrou stores! The only one I know here is in Sylvia Park and I never go there. I’ve been twice and only to go to Mirrou. Haha

Loooooove the black and white! Such a classic look 🙂 I’ve been looking for high waisted pants, so I might have to pop over to Mirrou when I’m back in town!
