Winter has finally hit NZ and the temperature is dropping fast. A few weeks ago, I could still get away with bare legs but not any more. Before I start featuring my favourite winter outfits, I wanted to share this specific one.

I got this Asos polka dot dress from Recycle Boutique. I loved the fit and the colour. It’s not really denim because the fabric is really soft.

I also like the ribbed collar detail.

The back has buttons all along the middle too which is a nice touch.

Lastly, I really liked the drop hem detail.

As for accessories, I had all silver.

The rings are mostly Karen Walker.

My shoes are these nude heels from Rubi. I love the block heel because it’s comfortable and strappy detail is quite on-trend.

The finish of the shoes is in this faux croc-print and it has tassels. At first I didn’t like the tassels and wanted to cut them off but it grew on me.

I’m sad that I can’t rock this exact outfit any more until the end of the year but I think this dress is still wearable in the colder months paired with tights, boots and a nice jacket. As for the heels, I’ll have to retire it until next summer.
