A few weeks ago I shared a Mirrou haul featuring my latest purchases from the brand. I love Mirrou and this knit top and pair of jeans have been a favourite of mine. I know we’re approaching the middle of winter and this outfit is not warm enough for the current weather but this combination is what I wore a lot before June.
To see the full outfit, continue down below.
This is a fairly casual outfit but with heels and accessories, it looks a little more dressed up. I love this knit top so much because of the length and it goes well with everything.
It’s a sleeveless knit top with a crew neckline. The knit has a diagonal pattern too and there are tiny holes in the top. However, it’s still pretty warm. The length is nice too because it covers the crotch so I can wear this with leggings.
This pair of girlfriend jeans are my current favourite pair. I can’t rave about it enough because it is the perfect length on my petite frame, it’s super comfortable and the wash and distressed details are still quite flattering.
I love Mirrou for having a pair of jeans I don’t have to fold. I wish I bought another pair of this because it was only $40.
My heels are these strappy nude pair from Rubi Shoes. I got them on sale and they’re so pretty. They have a block heel and aren’t too high so they’re comfy too.
For accessories, I layered these two necklaces I got in a set from Lovisa ages ago.
My rings are from Lovisa and Country Road. My watch is my beloved Fossil Jacqueline watch. I realised the other day that it stopped working so I need to get the battery changed.
My sunglasses were from Farmers and my dark red lippy is Wicked by Topshop Lips.
I know this is a fairly simple outfit but this knit top and jeans can be dressed up or down. I wore them both to a NZbloggers brunchclub too with a pair of flats for a more casual look. For night time, I’d pair it with heels and a nice coat or jacket.

I love that grey knit top as well, I can see why it’s so versatile- I’m already thinking of all the different ways I’d style it if it were in my wardrobe! Sometimes I think the simplest pieces are the best kind.

I agree! The simple and basic pieces are the most versatile and you get so much more wear out of them. Thanks for checking out this post! 🙂
