It has been way too long since I shared my beauty empties and it shows because I have a lot of products to share today. This is a mix of body, skincare and makeup bits and I’ll let you know what I feel about them.
Let’s start off with my haircare empties:
Every empties post I’ve done will most likely have a bottle of Batiste Dry Shampoo because I can’t live without it. My favourite is the dark and deep brown so it doesn’t leave a residue on my scalp.
The Mango Tango hair treatment was from Kmart and I liked it. The scent was nice and it left my hair soft but I prefer another hair treatment from Kmart so I won’t buy this again. The Argan Oil shampoo I got from a makeup sale and it was also nice but I’m currently using something better.
I have a few bodycare bits too and I seem to have gone through a bunch of body lotions. I really love the Vaseline Cocoa Glow lotion. It smells great and love the pump. I will keep buying this if I’m out of lotion. The Palmers Rapid Moisture spray lotion was interesting to use and I liked it more during summer because it’s refreshing to spray on when it’s hot. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave this sticky residue on the skin. The Olive pomegranate body lotion was sent to m and it smells amazing. I also really liked it.
For bath stuff, I have used up the Skin & Tonic Salute to the Sun body cleanser. I’m currently using the Apple of my Eye cleanser right now and they all smell amazing. The orange one was great during summer. I would definitely repurchase any of the cleansers in their range if I run out. Anyone that has used it in my shower has commented how nice it was. It’s guy-approved too. Haha
The Peach Blossom bath salts were from Kmart and they were okay. They smelt good but nothing amazing. They’re quite cheap though so I don’t mind and I just like to add it in my bath with other products.
Moving on to skincare…
I’ve used up 3 of the Etude House Wonder Pore products. I really liked the deep foaming cleanser as my face felt really clean without it being too drying. The Tightening Essence was alright. I liked the Balancing Cream in the tub better. Overall, I think the products were good. I haven’t repurchased because I’ve been trying another brand but I’ll consider it in the future if my current products don’t work.
The other two skincare bits were the Skin Therapy Dragon’s Blood lotion and Clinique take the day off cleansing milk. I got the dragon’s blood face cream in a goodie bag and it was nice but I don’t really know where to buy it. As for the cleansing milk, I didn’t really finish it all up but I had to throw it out because I’ve had the bottle for too long. I didn’t like it. It stung when you get it near your eyes and I found it too strong for my skin.
I didn’t have too many makeup empties. Just the BYS makeup setting spray which was alright but nothing extraordinary. I’ve talked about the Billion Dollar Brows pencil before and I really like it. It’s a great brow pencil. Another brow product I had to throw out was the L’oreal Brow Stylist Plumper which I love and I already am using another tube. I also used up two Sierra Bees lip balms from iHerb. They’re nice and moisturising. The mint one is my favourite.
The products above are at random because they were added much later. I sadly finished up the Eleven Miracle Hair Treatment and I absolutely loved this. I would buy it again as I got it in a goodie bag but I don’t really want to know how much it is. It’s a great product though.
I also have two body lotions. The Steam Cream and a Body Shop body butter. Both were nice but I prefer other lotions. Lastly I have hand creams because I use them quite a lot. My sister got me a set of 3 of the Therapy Range hand creams and I have two here. Both were really nice and they’re a handy size to put in your bag. The Hand & Nail treatment in a tub was from Kmart and it was average. Nothing amazing which I expected but it was nice to have anyway.
So there you have it for all the products I’ve used up so far. Let me know if you’ve tried any of the above and what you thought about them.
