Bellabox NZ – March

I’ve never tried any subscription boxes before so when I was approached by Bellabox to check out their subscription service, it was hard to say no. I’ve always wanted to try them so now I can share with you if I think they’re worth it.

So if you don’t know what Bellabox is, it’s Australia’s top beauty box subscription service. It finally launched in NZ towards the end of last year. I was really interested to see what this beauty box is like knowing that it’s the most popular one in Australia.

The March Bellabox comes in this cute purple box and the theme is ‘Super Power Beauty’. The box came with the card which lists all the products inside the box and an ingredients card which is quite handy for those who like to know what the products are made of.

March Bellabox

I was really excited when I saw the contents of the March box.  I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. The box had 6 products. 3 are full-size and 3 sample-size.

Bellabox Modelco Hailey Baldwin lip lacquer.jpg

ModelCo Super Lips Gloss Long-Lasting Lip Lacquer by Hailey Baldwin – $25 AUD

The first thing that caught my eye was this ModelCo Super Lips Gloss Long-Lasting Lip Lacquer by Hailey Baldwin. The shade I have is Bewitched and I’m so glad I got the red one. I was quite impressed with this lip gloss/lacquer because it’s so pigmented. It also smells really nice. I’ve never tried anything from ModelCo before even though I’ve heard of it.

This goes on really smoothly, it’s not too sticky and it’s so pigmented with even just one swipe.

modelco luxe creme long wear lipstick.jpg

ModelCo Lux Creme Long Wear Lipstick – $17 AUD

The box has another ModelCo product and this time it’s their long wear lipstick in the shade Sienna. This is my kind of pinky nude shade so I instantly loved this. The formula is creamy but still pigmented. I know this is a shade I’ll reach for often so this is a winner for me.

These aren’t the best lip swatches but I was running out of natural light when I took the photos. The top one has the lip lacquer in Bewitched and the bottom has the lipstick in Sienna. I really like both of these ModelCo lip products.

These two alone have made this March Bellabox worth it for me.

The GOAT skincare soap bar.jpg

GOAT Skincare Soap Bar – $4.99 NZD

I’ve tried goat soap bars before and I quite liked them. I’m really interested to test this one out because it’s suitable for dry, itchy and sensitive skin. I’m currently going through some issues with my skin breaking out so I’m hoping this will help. If it does, I’ll be glad too because of how affordable it is and it’s available in selected pharmacies and supermarkets here in NZ.

bellabox skinfood jurloque

Skinfood Mud Masque – $14.99 NZ (full size of 100ml)

I’ve tried this Skinfood mud masque before and have gone through two full size tubes already so having it in a smaller size 20ml is really handy for travelling. I have a trip coming up in May so I’ll definitely be bringing this with me.

Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Day Cream – $76 NZ (full size of 50ml)

This is a brand I’ve always wanted to try but I haven’t yet because it’s quite pricey. It’s great to have a sample sized of this day cream to test out before splurging on the full sized product. Again, this 15ml size will be great for travelling so I’m saving this for my trip.

hello hair shampoo and conditioner

Hello Hair Natural Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner

This is the bonus product inside the box and I’m not usually a big fan of foil sample packets but I liked this because I’ll definitely use this for my upcoming trip. I’m going somewhere hot and humid so I’ll need a hydrating shampoo and conditioner. This should be good for at least two washes for my short hair.

Overall, I’m really happy with the March Bellabox. It has products I’ll use especially the two ModelCo lipsticks.

So the monthly Bellabox boxes costs $24.95NZ including shipping. This us such great value for the quality of products and brands you get. I think this subscription service is affordable and a great way of trying new products.

I think it’s also really cool that in some boxes, you get a chance to pick what product you want. They do sneak peeks and gives their subscribers an option of what product they prefer.

Sneak Peek April Bellabox.jpg

For example, next month’s April Box will have a NYX Palette and you have 4 different palette options to choose from.

So if you’re interested in signing up to their monthly beauty boxes, head over the the Bellabox NZ website here.
