It’s been a few months since I last did an empties post so within that time, I’ve accumulated a lot more products that I’ve used up. I’ve also done a clearout of my makeup drawers and found a few things that I needed to chuck out so I’ve included them in here too. If you want to know what products I’ll repurchase again, continue down below.

My Makeup Empties
It has been way too long since I shared the products I’ve used up. I’ve also filled up a big basket so it’s time to share my empties again. Today’s post is only my makeup empties and there will be a haircare and body care empties to follow.
Just a warning, there are a few foundations in this post and a lot of mascaras but if you’re interested to know what I’ve tried, click below.
Brand Focus: Love Cosmetics
To continue my Brand Focus series, I’m featuring LOVE cosmetics from Kmart. I don’t know how many people have heard about this brand as I haven’t seen any blog posts about it. At first I only bought three things to try out but I eventually got a few more because I was so intrigued and since I have quite a few, I think it’s enough for this series.
I have 7 products to share with you today. If you want to see swatches and my review of each one, continue down below.
Eye of Horus Cosmetics Swatches
Last month, I was invited to an Eye of Horus beauty event. I talked about it in this post and I showed a sneak peak of the products that were in the goodie box. Today I’m sharing all the products including my review and swatches.

Current Beauty Favourites
This is my first beauty favourites post for this year. I don’t use too many new products to do a monthly favourites but I now have quite a lot of products to share with you that I’ve been currently loving.
This post has a mix of makeup, skincare, haircare plus my current go-to fragrance. See them all down below.
Eye of Horus
Last week, I was invited to the Eye of Horus beauty event where we were introduced the current and latest products from the brand.
I’ve heard about Eye of Horus for quite some time. However, I haven’t tried anything from the brand yet so I was quite excited to have a proper introduction of what the brand has to offer.
My 2015 Beauty Favourites
2015 was the year when I tried a lot of beauty products. I started my blog, got more active on Beauty Review, bought beauty boxes and I was more curious to try more brands.
This post is the big compilation of all the products I loved the past year.
Be Indulged Beauty Advent Calendar
Advent calendars have been pretty popular for the past few years. A lot more brands have released their own versions. However, being in New Zealand, not a lot are available here. I thought I wouldn’t get one this year but I saw this Be Indulged Beauty Advent Calendar in Kmart and I got curious.
At only $15, this is probably the cheapest beauty advent calendar out there. I didn’t expect the best quality but the packaging looked cute.

Makeup Sale Haul
I’m back with a beauty haul which I got a while ago from one of the Big Bucket deals. I always like checking the sale out when they’re in town because I never know what I’d find.
I know I don’t need any more makeup but I love trying new things and getting them on sale makes me feel a little big better about my purchase.

Benefit vs W7 mascara
I’ve been testing these two identical-looking mascaras out for a few weeks now. I’ve loved Benefit They’re Real mascara for a while and it’s the only expensive mascara I’ve ever bought. I saw the W7 Absolute Lashes mascara at a makeup sale and I couldn’t resist picking it up to see how it compares.
Which one do you think is better? The expensive one or the cheaper dupe? See my verdict below.
