During my Christmas/New Year break from work, I did a bit of decluttering so I had a bunch of clothing and homeware stuff I didn’t want anymore. I wanted to donate them to an opshop so I headed over to the Salvation Army. After dropping them off, I checked out the store and I managed to find a few clothing items.

I haven’t posted an opshop/thrift haul in a long time so I thought I’d finally share with you what I got from my local Hospice last time I went. I didn’t get too much stuff but I still found some good things both in the actual opshop and in the Hospice warehouse section.
I got a mixture of brands this time too from Dotti, Lululemon and Kathmandu.

I have another thrift haul to share today. I wanted to share this one because it is from a bargain bin of one of my favourite opshops.
As you may know, I love thrifting/opshopping and I go to a few different ones. One of the North Shore Hospice shops has a warehouse at the back of the normal shop where there are bargain bins and piles of clothing, books, appliances and furniture. The warehouse shop of the North Shore Hospice is the cheapest of all opshops I go to.
It has been a while since I posted a thrift haul but I have thrifted a few times these past two months. I will break it down into two posts so this is the stuff I got from Savemart and Recycle Boutique. I’ll save the other one for another day because I don’t want this to be too long.

One weekend, my sister and I really wanted to go out of the house but since we were over going to the mall, we checked out Savemart instead as we haven’t been there in a long time.
We didn’t get a lot of things from Savemart but I got lucky finding the Kenzo Paris dress above. I also got a few things from Recycle Boutique and an op shop close to my house.

I’m off to Melbourne today (yay!) and a few weeks ago, while planning for it, I decided to get a backpack and sneakers.
The three things in this post are not something I’d wear or use often. I haven’t used a backpack since I went to school which was over 5 years ago. I never liked backpacks either except for my polka dot Jansport back which was cool at the time.
Anyway, the reason why I decided to get a backpack is mainly for this holiday. I only intended to get one backpack too but see below as to why I ended up with two different ones.
Following up from my Thrifting/Opshopping Tips post is another haul. I think this is my favourite thrift haul from Recycle Boutique so far because the dress above is absolutely beautiful and I can’t believe I found it.
I got a few other things that I also love so if you want to see more, please check it out below. The other dress I got has also been a favourite and I’ve worn it a few times already.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure
I have been asked multiple times on my “secret” to op shopping. For those that don’t know, thrifting or op shopping is when you go shopping at thrift stores, second-hand shops or charity shops. It has also been popularised by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis with their song Thrift Shop. If you haven’t heard of that song, you may have been living under a rock.
So basically, you are looking at pre-loved/second hand items that have mostly been donated by others. I am a serial op shopper. I am obsessed with it (as you can tell from my thrift hauls) and I love the thrill of finding a great pieces for bargain prices.

This is my third opshop haul on the blog and it definitely won’t be the last! I LOVE opshopping so much. It makes me happy when I find great pieces are bargain prices.

My previous opshop haul was from Recycle Boutique. This time around, I checked out my nearest SaveMart in hope of getting some good stuff.
SaveMart can be a hit and miss. It is a huge opshop and the amount of stuff inside can be overwhelming. I could easily spend more than 2 hours in there if I go through every single rack but it will also give someone a headache.
For this opshopping trip, I didn’t have anything in mind and I managed to get a few things. I was even lucky enough to find a Forever New dress!
