This is the last of my Queenstown holiday posts and it’s about our adventures outside of the main QT town. For the second half of our trip, we had a car so we also explored Arrowtown, Cromwell, Gibbston Valley and Glenorchy. This part had some of my favourite parts of our holiday.Continue reading
A few weeks ago, we finally went on our holiday to Queenstown. We booked this trip last year but due to lockdowns, we had to postpone it. We had such an amazing trip and took so many photos. This is my second time in Queenstown and it was even better this time around.Continue reading

A few weeks ago we did a holiday road trip to explore the south-eastern side of the North Island. We planned a 10 day road trip and this post is part 1 of our trip. We just came back from a wonderful long weekend holiday in Tapu. The accommodation I booked for this trip was so amazing that it inspired me to write this post. I think it’s such a hidden gem so I wanted to share where we stayed and what we did.Continue reading
Back in February, we had a Christchurch trip. We were there for a wedding but I decided to make a mini holiday out of it as I haven’t really explored Christchurch at all. We had such an amazing time so I wanted to do a recap of it here. We stayed at 2 beautiful places and explored both the city and a seaside town.
A few weekends ago, we did a weekend road trip up North to Hokianga Harbour. In all my years living in New Zealand, it’s an area I’ve never been to before. I haven’t explored Northland much at all so I was really excited for our little weekend away. We managed to fit so much in and I had an amazing time.
After two lockdowns, life in New Zealand has started to go back to normal. Whilst we still cannot travel internationally, we can go anywhere in NZ for a holiday. Two weeks ago, we finally did our trip out of Auckland and we headed down to Rotorua.
This trip was meant to be back in August but lockdown 2.0 happened so we had to postpone it. The wait was well worth it though because we had an amazing time and it was a break we truly needed.
So I’ve lived in New Zealand for over 10 years and I have never been to the capital city, Wellington. I finally went a few weeks ago for my friend’s birthday and I wanted to make the most of my first time there.
If you want to know what I got up to, the things I did and bought and what I ate, continue down below.
