In 2020, I rediscovered my love of reading and ever since then I have read consistently throughout the year. It has been one of my favourite things to do to unwind and relax. Last year was a big reading year for me and I want to share my top reads and the books that stood out to me.

January is my birthday month. 2020 was a rollercoaster of a year so for this year, I want to focus more on the positives and good things. I thought it would be nice to look back on my highlights so I thought my birthday month and the first month of the new year would be a great start.
I actually did a lot of exciting and fun things in January so I’ve compiled them all down below.
I have been a terrible blogger as the last time I posted here was back in October. The later part of the year is always so hectic and I also lost my blogging mojo. I’m hoping to get it back this year so to start afresh (even though this post is also a bit late), I want to look back on 2017 which has been a year of change.
2017 was by far, the hardest year as it truly tested my strength but it also turned out to be the best. It made me a stronger and better person. I took every opportunity that was presented to me and it was the year that I really felt like I was being myself. In a way, my break up was like me being set free from the anchor that weighed me down. I was finally able to live my life how I should’ve.
I wanted to write about my September Highlights/Recap because it was such a busy but great month. A lot of different things happened such as blog events, catch up with friends and eating lots of food.
For affordable makeup lovers out there, today is the day. Wet n Wild is finally launching in Farmers here in NZ. I’ve heard about Wet n Wild for years but since it’s impossible to get a hold of here in NZ, I’ve never tried any of their products before. The wait is over because from August 1, it will be stocked in selected Farmers stores and the website.
I was kindly sent a bunch of products last week and I’m sharing them with you so you know what to expect. I squealed when I saw the package. I was spoilt and I can’t wait to try them all.
It is that time of the year again and The Food Show is back in Auckland. I went for the first time last year and it was great so I wanted to check out this year’s show. I went with my friend today and I wanted to share today’s experience because you still have 2 more days left to check out this year’s show.
I’ll share what we got up to, my haul and stalls I recommend checking out.
I’m aware we’re in the second week of April already but I thought I’d share how last month was because it was jam-packed but it was amazing. It was quite an eventful month so I’ll be sharing my highlights and this is also a way for me to remember the great times.
Last weekend I went to the usual Fragrance and Makeup Sale that happens every few months in Auckland. I didn’t go too crazy but I still wanted to show you what I got.
The sale was at ASB Showgrounds which was at the same time as this Noel Leeming technology sale which I also went to in search for a camera but I only ended up buying a powerbank. Anyway, if you want to see my haul in detail and how much each product was, click below.
Last month we checked out The Culpeper in the city for lunch. We were kindly given a voucher from The Nourish Group from my partner’s dad and it was about to expire. We couldn’t waste an opportunity to try a new food place so off we went.
