Travel: Melbourne Part 2

Today’s post is a continuation of my Melbourne travel series. I have posted Part 1 already which is more of an overview and what I saw on the first day exploring this beautiful city. This post is about our second day there when I went to the Melbourne Museum, Eureka Sydeck and took the tram.

Because I explored the city the day before, I had a grasp of where I am and I got familiar with the main streets. On my second day, I wandered further than the main strips and just started walking aimlessly after lunch.

If I didn’t keep walking, I wouldn’t have stumbled upon the beautiful Royal Exhibition Building (pictured above) within Carlton Gardens.

Thanks to the lovely ladies on Beauty Review, I found out about Hardy’s Health Store’s Winter Wellness Pack. I signed up for it and what I didn’t expect to see inside are the beautiful prints of their Top 10 Winter Wellness Tips. I was seriously impressed. The tip cards look like something you can find on Pinterest.

stellar matariki auckland lights art

Matariki Festival: Stellar

I found about this event today and I’m glad I decided to check it out. If you are interested in seeing some pretty light installations, head over to the North Shore because Stellar is on.

Stellar: Bright Ideas is for the Matariki Festival and it runs until Sunday night. There are seven light installations celebrating the arrival of Matariki (Seven Sisters) constellation in the winter night sky.
