I am a big fan of MAC lipsticks. What I’m not a big fan of is the price over here in New Zealand. However, I cannot resist picking up items from their limited edition collections. I picked one lipstick from the MAC Toledo Collection. The packaging is amazing. It has a rubbery matte texture and the print stands out from the white bullet. Click more to see which shade I got and a swatch. The shade I picked up is Tenor Voice which is a matte finish.
Here is it swatched on my hand and on my lips. It is a great true red shade. The Toledo Collection has 6 beautiful shades: Oxblood, Barbecue, Opera, Tenor Voice, Victoriana and Sin.

I liked all the shades except for Oxblood but that’s because I don’t suit light nude shades. These lipsticks are pigmented and a a great addition to any lipstick collection. The packaging also reminds me of this Esprit shirt I got a few years ago.

Love this blog Ang….I have been working on a motivational (HR/OD) one on WordPress but have not yet hosted it…you have inspired me to carry on with it!
I will be a firm fan of this site!
I love the style…and tell me…is the Toledo Oxblood really a light nude? I love Oxblood, but I thought it was dark…help 😊
Well done…this is brilliant! Love, Bev xxx

Thank you Bev! I definitely recommend it. If it’s something you are passionate about and enjoy doing/writing there’s nothing stopping you on starting it. I’ve been blogging for so long and I didn’t care whether I had an readers or not but I did it because I liked it and I liked sharing the things I liked or did.
It isn’t a really light nude but because of my skin tone Oxblood wouldn’t suit me and I also prefer bright shades. I just can’t pull it off. 🙂
Btw, I have a bigger MAC lipstick swatch planned too as my collection is growing. It will be up in the near future. 🙂
