If you love fried chicken and live in Auckland, you would’ve probably heard about the Fried Chicken Festival that happened last weekend. This was my first time going so I wanted to document and share my experience. The tickets were limited so if you had FOMO and was wondering how it was, continue down below.

April Brunchclub at Devon On The Wharf
Last month, I organised the NZBloggers Brunchclub at one of my favourite brunch places Devon On The Wharf. I have already blogged about this place before but I wanted to recap my first ever brunchclub.
Melbourne Brunch Spots
Back in January, I went to Melbourne with my sister. We were there for a week just for a holiday exploring the city and eating all the food. We had an amazing time and we found the coffee and brunch scene in Melbourne central amazing so I wanted to share them.
If you’re heading there soon, check out all the brunch spots below. I highly recommend you check them out.
Devon On The Wharf
Devonport is probably my favourite suburb in the North Shore besides Takapuna, my home. It’s such a great place to go for a walk, stroll around the quaint town and have brunch. Right smack in Devonport Wharf is the aptly named Devon On The Wharf. We’ve been here a couple of times so I’ve tested this place out.
The Food Show 2018
I can’t believe it’s July already. After a pretty crappy month, I’m glad I’m ending it by attending The Food Show. This is my third year going and I get so excited about seeing new brands and tasting all the food. I went today and I wanted to share some of the photos I took inside and the great deals we found.
Dinner in the Dark with Sacred Hill Wines
So back in April, I was invited by Sacred Hill Wines at Dans Le Noir? to have dinner in the dark. I know it’s been a while but I couldn’t talk about it straight away until the menu changed in May. I really wanted to share my experience and in case you were wondering what it’s like to taste food without your vision. If you’re curious, continue down below.
Hamilton Trip
So two weekends ago, I had a last minute trip to Hamilton. I wasn’t planning on going at all but I realised I didn’t want to miss out so I joined a few lovely blogging gals for a quick day trip. We went there for brunch which I already posted about so this post will have everything else we got up to during the day and the cool things I saw while we were there.
Two Birds Eatery
So every month, a bunch of NZ bloggers have brunch together for a monthly brunch club. I’ve been to so many of them and it’s a great way to meet other bloggers, make new friends and try new food places. It’s mainly in Auckland but April’s brunchclub location was at Two Birds Eatery in Hamilton.
Bottomless Brunch at The Lula Inn
Last month’s brunchclub was at The Lula Inn located in the waterfront, beside the Auckland Maritime Museum. I’ve never been to this restaurant before so I was quite excited to try their Bottomless Brunch with some awesome blogging gals. Food plus cocktails on a Sunday? YES PLEASE.
Umu Pizza
The food scene in Auckland is so exciting. There are so many new food places now and my list of places to go to keeps growing. The latest addition to the scene is UMU Pizza. If you love a good pizza, this is a place to check out. I’ve been twice and have tried 6 out of the 8 pizzas they have on offer so if you want to know my thoughts and more info about this place, continue down below.
