Last month, Beauty Review opened their Beauty Vault which has a selection of beauty products available to ‘purchase’ using our beauty points. Since I’ve accumulated a lot of points, I decided to use some of them. Today I’m sharing what I’ve spent my points on and a brief review on the ones I’ve used so far.

Beauty Empties
It’s been a while since I did an empties post and while I was cleaning my room, I found the paper bag I was storing all my used-up beauty products. It’s the new year and it’s time I throw these away.
I have a mixture of skincare, body care and haircare products so if you want to know if I recommend repurchasing any of these, click below.
Battle of the Brows
Brows have been a really big thing the past few years. It seems like everyone is after getting the perfect eyebrows. I, myself have been obsessed with getting my eyebrows on point every time I go out.
I have searched high and low for brow products and today, I’m sharing with you all the ones I have tried so far.

Schwarzkopf Lightening Spray
Today, I’m talking about a product I never thought I’d use. But since it came inside the Beauty Review September Beauty Box, I thought I’d give it a go.
The product is the Schwarzkopf Nordic Blonde Lightening Spray. I have been using this since getting the Beauty Box so which has been almost two months ago.

September Beauty Box
It has been a few months since the last Beauty Review Beauty Box but the September box finally came out. I received it last week and I’ve been excited to share it to you.
If you haven’t heard, Beauty Review is this awesome NZ website where you can post reviews of makeup, skincare and haircare products. You can engage with others in the forum, read articles and you can also get your hands on their beauty box. I bought the last one back in March and it was such great value that I couldn’t resist picking one up again.

Beauty Vault Haul
As you may know, I’m a member of Beauty Review which is this great NZ website where you look at beauty products, review them and engage with other members. it has a forum which a good way to know new products, good deals and meet people.
BR also has a Beauty Vault which members get to ‘buy’ products using their points gained from writing reviews and posting in the forums. I managed to grab a few things from the points I’ve accumulated over the past few months which is great because I basically get to try all these new products for free.
See below what I’ve chosen from the vault.
Beauty Review Makeup Look
I’m sorry I haven’t properly blogged last week. If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you’d know I went to Melbourne for a short trip. I wanted to post regularly but one of my scheduled posts didn’t publish and I didn’t have enough time to finish writing the other two.
I’m back now though and I’m finally posting about this makeup look I did for Beauty Review. I was approached by Beauty Review to create a makeup look to be featured in their Makeup Look of the Week article. I didn’t expect it at all and I was quite surprised since I don’t think I’m quite good at makeup. I have so much to learn but I created a makeup look that I’m comfortable with and my go-to for special occasions.
Please see below for my full look, the products I used and why this means so much more to me than creating a makeup look.
Review: L’Oreal Paris nail polish
I was sent this product by Beauty Review as a part of the trial team. It is the new L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Le Vernis Shades of Grey Metallic Effects (what a name!) nail polish. The shade that I got is called Metallic Cuff which is a dark blue-grey colour. I think this colour is great for autumn/winter and I’ll wear it again this season.
See below for more photos and my review of it.
March Beauty Box
There are many subscription boxes out there and though I have been tempted by some, I never signed up to one. I wasn’t interested in the endless foil samples and unwearable colour shades up until Beauty Review’s Beauty Box. I missed out on the last Beauty Box so when the opportunity came up to get the March Box, I made sure I got one.
The thing I love about Beauty Review’s Beauty Box is instead of getting samples, you get at least 6 full-sized products that are readily available and in stock. The box costs $55 incl. shipping and the value is said to be worth over $236.
