This month’s Bellabox is quite special to me and I’ve been waiting for it to arrive. This month I worked with Bellabox and actually tried one of the products well in advance so I can have my review in the product card. I’m the first blogger/influencer to be featured so I’m so excited!
The November box’s theme is Sun Seeker which is perfect because it’s getting warmer every day and we need be prepared for summer. There are 7 products in total with one being full size.
Let’s start with the main product:
Steve Laurant Lip Tint – $33.50NZ
This is the product I’ve tried and reviewed for the box which is why I have two pots of it.
The unused pot on the top is in the shade Nude Pop. The one in the bottom and the one I’ve clearly used is the shade Dusty Rose.
Don’t let the box fool you, this is a lip tint and not a lip gloss. It comes in 4 shades and in this luxe packaging. I love the rose gold cap and the pot has some weight to it so it doesn’t feel cheap at all.
In my short review I said “The packaging is beautiful, it looks & feels luxe. The lip tint itself is nice & creamy. It’s pigmented and has a subtle sheen. The formula isn’t drying and sits comfortably on the lips”.
What I said above is true and those were my thoughts about the lip tint. I used it basically every day at work as I kept Dusty Rose on my desk. It wasn’t drying at all and the formula isn’t heavy. With regards to shades, I definitely prefer Dusty Rose over Nude Pop because Nude Pop is too light for me.
It’s weird but exciting that my face and comments are inside the Bellabox for everyone to read. It is crazy that I’ve been featured and I feel so grateful for the opportunity.
Dove Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner – $7.49NZ (full price 50ml)
So the next big products are this mini shampoo and conditioner set. This made the box smelled so good. I could smell it before I even opened the box. I actually like that these are inside because I need minis like this for the gym. I have swimming every Saturday so these two would be handy for when I have a shower afterwards.
They’re the perfect travel/gym bag size. I am hoping they would make my hair smell amazing based on the scent just oozing out and would remove all traces of chlorine in my hair.
Vitamasques Sleep in Mask in Mango – $5.99AU
I love sleeping masks and mangoes so I think I’m going to love this product. I’ve not heard of this brand but the packaging is cute. This is made in Korea and Korean face masks are usually pretty good as most of their skincare. I can’t wait to use this. I usually put a sleep in mask 2-3 times a week anyway.
La Roche-Posay SPF50 – $31.99NZ (full price 50ml)
Definitely perfect for summer. It says that it’s good for sensitive skin and skin that is prone to sun intolerance. Again, this size would be handy for my gym bag. For sunscreen, the full size is actually reasonably priced.
Avene Gently Exfoliating Gel – $45.80NZ (full price 75ml)
I haven’t tried a lot of Avene products but I do love their thermal spray to hydrate my skin on hot days. That was my lifesaver when I went to the Philippines where it’s hot and humid. This one is an exfoliator to unclog pores and gets rid of surface impurities for a brighter and smoother skin.
OGX Radiant Glow + Argan Oil Body Wash & Lotion
This is the bonus product for this month and I’m not usually keen on sachets BUT this is another handy one for the gym bag and for travelling. I also like OGX shampoo and conditions as I’ve used a few of their products over the past years. I haven’t tried their body wash or lotion though so I’m interested to see what these are like.
So those are all the products in this month’s box. I genuinely love Bellabox. Not only for this awesome opportunity to be featured but every month they surprise me and they always have products I’d use and like. It’s a good mix of well-known and up and coming brands.
The box is $24.95NZ including shipping per month. If you’re interested in signing up to their monthly beauty boxes, head over the the Bellabox NZ website here.
