Being petite, it is so hard to find a maxi dress that fits me well. Thankfully my sister found this floral maxi dress and I think it’s the one. I love this dress and I’m excited to show it to you today.

This floral dress is Mink Pink but we found it at Recycle Boutique for around $20.
It’s floor length on me but it’s not too long so it doesn’t drag along the ground when I wear heels.
It has a plunging v-neck but without being too revealing and the floral pattern isn’t too busy because it’s mainly navy and orange colours.
The sleeves overlap and there is a band by the waist to give it more dimension and accentuates the waist.
The bottom of the dress flares out a but more so it swishes nicely when I walk. I just love how it falls and the pleats are flattering.
For this dress, I think it’s best paired with an up-do hairstyle. I wish I can plait/braid my hair but I’m useless at it so I got my sister to help me out.
I wish I can have this hairstyle every day. As you can see, the ends of my hair are still brown. The Schwarzkopf hair lightening spray does work and it lasts a long time!
You can’t see the shoes so I can basically wear whatever but in this outfit, I just paired it with black pumps. That is my cat Turbo with me too. He is the love of my life besides my partner. Haha.
I wanted to wear this dress during the NZFW Opening Party but I decided last minute to not go because I had an job interview the next day. I’m sure I’ll find another occasion to wear this dress again.

Oh it’s so pretty, $20 for Mink Pink isn’t bad. Also your cat is super super cute ❤
