So a few weeks ago, Laura from lifewithlaura.nz took a few outfit photos of me. I was quite nervous as I am definitely not a model and posing for me is awkward but after a few directions from her, it got better and she managed to take beautiful photos.
I wanted to share the first lot wearing my favourite casual dress.
Today’s outfit post is with collaboration with Boohoo who asked me to create a look inspired by a famous icon from film or television. The first thing that came to mind when I thought of a character was Blair Waldorf. I have the whole Gossip Girl box set and this year, I started rewatching the series. Blair has always been my favourite character and I love her outfits.
After trawling through the evening dresses section of Boohoo, I finally found this dress that I think fits Blair’s style perfectly and something I would also wear.
Being petite, it is so hard to find a maxi dress that fits me well. Thankfully my sister found this floral maxi dress and I think it’s the one. I love this dress and I’m excited to show it to you today.

In the weeks leading up to NZ Fashion Week, I was struggling to find outfits to wear so to solve my outfit situation, I hit up Savemart, one of my top places to go thrifting/opshopping. Savemart can be hit or miss but my last trip was definitely a win because I found some great things.

We’re in the middle of winter now so the pieces I’m featuring are perfect for the chilly weather. They have definitely kept me warm and I know I will be using them a lot this season.

As winter approaches, I realised I need to update my wardrobe as I’m lacking warmer clothing. When I found out that Boohoo was on sale, I couldn’t resist so I made two orders. This haul will show what I got on both of my orders.

The days are getting colder and I almost can’t get away with wearing just a sleeveless top or bare legs. I like midi dresses though because the length covers just enough which is good for this autumn/fall season.

Today’s post features my first and only denim dress. Besides jeans, I actually don’t own any other denim clothing. I know some people’s closet staple is a denim jacket but I personally haven’t found one that I liked and same goes with a denim dress.
So when Fashionlife sent me this denim dress, I was excited to see how it looks and how can I style it.
