Last month, I organised the NZBloggers Brunchclub at one of my favourite brunch places Devon On The Wharf. I have already blogged about this place before but I wanted to recap my first ever brunchclub.
Devonport is probably my favourite suburb in the North Shore besides Takapuna, my home. It’s such a great place to go for a walk, stroll around the quaint town and have brunch. Right smack in Devonport Wharf is the aptly named Devon On The Wharf. We’ve been here a couple of times so I’ve tested this place out.
Last month’s brunchclub was at The Lula Inn located in the waterfront, beside the Auckland Maritime Museum. I’ve never been to this restaurant before so I was quite excited to try their Bottomless Brunch with some awesome blogging gals. Food plus cocktails on a Sunday? YES PLEASE.
The food scene in Auckland is so exciting. There are so many new food places now and my list of places to go to keeps growing. The latest addition to the scene is UMU Pizza. If you love a good pizza, this is a place to check out. When the invitation to have breakfast at The Sugar Club landed in my inbox, I basically wanted to say yes straight away. I’ve been to The Sugar Club once and I know it’s such a great place to dine. I knew the event had something to do with coffee but I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in last week that it’s for the launch of L’OR Espresso.
So last Friday, I was lucky enough to be invited to Krispy Kreme’s VIP launch event. I was part of the first group that was able to check out the first New Zealand store, try out their drinks, doughnuts and get a behind the scenes sneak peak. Today’s post is about one of my favourite food places in Auckland. I should’ve written about The Garden Shed a long time ago because I’ve been here multiple times but I was only able to take better photos during the weekend when I went with other NZ Bloggers for the monthly Brunchclub.
Last Sunday, I had lunch with my family at Tok Tok, a restaurant I’ve been wanting to try since it opened in Takapuna some time last year. It was my dad’s birthday so I took it as a great opportunity to book this place.
