Last month, I posted the top places where I go thrifting/opshopping. Today I have a huge thrift haul from a few weeks back when I realised I needed more winter pieces. These are more basic staple clothing items but I still wanted to share them because of how inexpensive I got them.

Thrift Haul
It’s been a long time since I posted a thrift/opshop haul here on the blog. As much as I love thrifting, I haven’t had the time to go or if I have, I’ve only bought one or two pieces that weren’t enough to feature in a post.
A few weekends ago, I made the time to go to my favourite Hospice shop and I got lucky because I came home with a bunch of thrifted goodies.
I have a mixture of clothing, books and a kitchen item so continue on if you want to know everything I got.
Boxing Day Sales Haul
The day after Christmas Day is Boxing Day and usually every year I hit the sales. This time around, I was in the country side enjoying a much needed break from the city and technology.
We came back to the city a day after Boxing Day and I checked out the shops to see what else is still on sale. I managed to find a few things which are mostly clothing and jewellery. I didn’t go too crazy this time around but I like everything that I got.
Kmart Fashion Haul
Kmart has really stepped it up lately. I’ve loved Kmart for a long time but I was so impressed by what they have in store last time I went. The heels above are my latest purchase and I love them. It’s not something you’d expect to find from the store either.
Besides the heels, I got a few more fashion bits and pieces. This haul is a mixture of shoes, active wear and lingerie.

Bargain Thrift Haul
I have another thrift haul to share today. I wanted to share this one because it is from a bargain bin of one of my favourite opshops.
As you may know, I love thrifting/opshopping and I go to a few different ones. One of the North Shore Hospice shops has a warehouse at the back of the normal shop where there are bargain bins and piles of clothing, books, appliances and furniture. The warehouse shop of the North Shore Hospice is the cheapest of all opshops I go to.
Thrift Haul
It has been a while since I posted a thrift haul but I have thrifted a few times these past two months. I will break it down into two posts so this is the stuff I got from Savemart and Recycle Boutique. I’ll save the other one for another day because I don’t want this to be too long.

NZFW: CLEO Presents RUBY & HOLY CHIC
This is my last runway post from NZ Fashion Week. It has been a few weeks already but I still wanted to share this. NYFW is on right now and I could only dream to watch a runway show there.
Anyway, this post is all about the CLEO Presents RUBY/HOLY CHIC/COOP show during the NZ Fashion Weekend. This is a great combination of three wonderful designers. This is the show that was most wearable to me and closest to my style. I loved the clothes I saw and want them all.

NZFW: Resene Designer Selection Show
It has been exactly 2 weeks since I went to NZ Fashion Week and my experience is still fresh in my mind. I have two runway show posts left so if you’re still interested, continue reading.
Today is all about the Resene Designer Selection Show. NZFW is quite exclusive to the fashion industry and delegates only. However, the DSS is open to the public and you can purchase tickets to the show. It was on from Wednesday to Saturday at different times.
It’s a great show to get an overview of the current designer collections. There’s something for everyone and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I watched the show from the front row so I managed to take a lot of photos.
NZFW: RUBY
The last New Zealand Fashion Week show I watched on Thursday was RUBY. It was the only off-site show I watched too and it was in a Wilson Carpark near K Road.
We had to be there early for the NZFW Backstage blog and when we got there, the two top levels of the car park was closed off for the show. It was un unusual place to have a runway but RUBY made it work.
See below for more runway photos.
NZFW: Frances Jerard
The first show I did for the NZ Fashion Week Backstage Blog is Frances Jerard. I was quite nervous because it was my first show and I was a bit shy approaching the head hairstylist, makeup artist and the designer but I managed to do all three in the end.
See below for hair, makeup and photos from the runway of the Frances Jerard Be Brave Collection.
