Last Saturday, I attended my first ever beauty event. Talk Beauty NZ is an event for beauty bloggers/vloggers, makeup artists and beauty lovers. Now I know I’m not just a beauty blogger but I do love makeup and feature it here on the blog so I thought it was a great opportunity to meet fellow beauty enthusiasts and brands.

January has been an eventful month. It’s my birthday month and lots of happy and exciting things happened. It was fairly easy to think of the highlights this month.

Today is Auckland Anniversary day so I thought I’d make a relevant post. I know I already talked about the Auckland Seafood Festival on my last post. However, that was just a tidbit and today, I’m sharing my experience of the actual festival as I went on Saturday night and I was able to try the food on offer.
I also wanted to post this because you still have a chance to go to the Auckland Seafood Festival because it’s on today from 11am – 4pm. If you fancy some great seafood, head over to the city and also enjoy Auckland’s day.
Yesterday afternoon, I attended the launch for the Auckland Seafood Festival thanks to the awesome people at Zomato. The launch was before the festival opened to the public and it gave us a great insight of what the festival is all about, what it is trying to achieve and what will be on offer during the festival.

Last week, I was kindly invited by Zomato to an ‘Ever so girly and glamorous High Tea’ at Waipuna Hotel. This was an invitation I simply couldn’t resist so that Saturday morning, I got ready, drove to the hotel and went inside Wellington’s Restaurant and Bar where I greeted by the lovely view of Panmure Basin and Mount Wellington.

I shared my ‘What I got for Christmas‘ on the blog and same with that, I also love watching/reading what people got for their birthdays. January is my birthday month so I got a few presents which I want to share with you all.
This looks more like a Karen Walker haul too since I picked up a few things from the brand but it has become a tradition for me to have something from Karen Walker.

2015 was not the best year if I have to be quite honest. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride with plenty of ups and downs. I’m not going to dwell on the bad and will focus on the positives instead.

Today is my birthday and I thought I’d put up my favourite type of post which is an outfit post. I haven’t posted one in a while too.
This outfit is what I wore 2 weeks ago when I went to my boyfriend’s work party. I’ve kept this in my closet for quite some time and I finally had the right occasion to wear it.

This is my first Christmas on the blog and I thought I’d share some of the things I received this year.
I don’t know about you but I love watching What I got for Christmas videos on Youtube or reading blog posts about them. Maybe it’s the nosy side of me but I enjoy them and it’s interesting to me seeing what people got. It’s similar to hauls which I love too.
